The Quad County Career Pathways Consortium (QCCPC) is an education-to-workforce partnership
of several local education districts and organizations whose membership is based on
the need to create effective sustainable systems improving students’ matriculation,
persistence, completion and career placement.
The consortium is made up of 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and , , , and school districts.
The Career Pathways program provides pre-collegiate students with career and technical
training. Articulation agreements—formal transfer agreements between 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and local
school districts—give students who successfully complete Career Pathway/CTE Academies
at the secondary level eligibility for college credit or clock hours at the post-secondary
level.
Career Pathways credit is valid for 36 months following high school graduation. To
receive college credit, schedule an appointment with an 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Success Coach or an 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ
advisor to indicate completion of a Career Pathways Academy and to meet all of the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ admissions requirements. If courses articulate toward your 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ degree or certificate program,
credit will be verified and applied to your student record. This is a one-time, permanent

Strong collaboration between education, employers, and community partners are essential
to creating high-quality Career Pathways/CTE programs of study. Through QCCPC efforts,
academic, career and technical content can be made more relevant, rigorous and better
aligned with the skills demanded by the labor market. Students can obtain college
credit for coursework completed in high school, apprenticeships, or industry-based
training through local articulation agreements. The partnerships, including that with
the , underscore the commitment and support of establishing career pathway oriented curriculum
within local secondary, post-secondary and community organizations.
