Casey Lunceford Named Campus President Emeritus in Recognition of 25 Distinguished Years

Casey Lunceford, who has served 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ with distinction since 1997, retires at the end of August. During his more than 25-year career with the College, Lunceford has held positions that include Associate Professor and Director of Instrumental Music, Academic Director of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Dean of Arts and Sciences.

Since 2014 he has served as Campus President of the Mueller Campus in Vero Beach, where he has responsibility for all programs, facilities, and activities involving 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ in Indian River County. Lunceford, a longtime Vero Beach resident, has long been recognized for his work as a faculty member, administrator, and community volunteer. Over the years, Lunceford has served on numerous boards, including the Indian River Chamber of Commerce, Sebastian Area Chamber of Commerce, Executive Roundtable of Indian River County, Economic Development Council, the Veterans Council as a civilian liaison, the Gifford Youth Achievement Board, Indian River Charter High School, and the Sherriff’s Citizens Advisory Committee. In March 2022, he received the Chairman’s Award from the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce.

Lunceford has helped shape 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s culture of support and respect for our students. In recognition of his numerous contributions, he was named Campus President Emeritus at the August 2022 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ District Board of Trustees meeting.
