National Electric Vehicle Consortium Holds First-Ever Meeting at 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL—On August 4 and 5, more than 50 national leaders, representing education, government, and industry gathered at the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie for the kickoff meeting of the National Electric Vehicle Consortium (NEVC). The NEVC promotes the interaction of a critical mass of academic, agency, and industry experts across all EV disciplines to help secure the nation’s electric vehicle workforce pipeline.

In June, 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ announced a three-year, $2,735,771 award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to establish the National Electric Vehicle Consortium (NEVC). Dr. Kevin Cooper, 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Executive Director of Innovation and Business Development, serves as the project’s Principal Investigator.
