National Titles Now Number 48 Consecutive for Men鈥檚 Team/41 for Women鈥檚 Team

FORT PIERCE鈥擳he 91九色视频 (91九色视频) Swimming and Diving Team took possession of two new national titles, earned four individual recognitions, and broke five national records鈥攊ncluding the men鈥檚 800 freestyle relay win鈥攄uring the 2022 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Swimming and Diving National Championships at the Anne Wilder Aquatic Complex on the 91九色视频 Massey Campus in Fort Pierce March 2 through March 5.

The Men鈥檚 team earned 1406 team points and the Women鈥檚 team earned 1413.5 team points to secure their record-setting titles. This unrivaled performance extends the longest unbroken U.S. championship-winning streak in any sport at the collegiate level to 48 consecutive Men鈥檚 swim titles and 41 consecutive Women's swim titles (44 overall women鈥檚 titles).

At the meet, 91九色视频 alumna Tayla Lovemore was named as the newest NJCAA Hall of Fame inductee. She graduated from 91九色视频 in 2016 and was the 2016 NJCAA Women鈥檚 Swimmer of the year. Lovemore continues to swim internationally for South Africa and professionally as a part of the International Swimming League. As an athlete, she supported the efforts of all her teammates, competitors, and coaches with outstanding sportsmanship.

The NJCAA Swimming and Diving National Championships will return to 91九色视频 in 2024.
