Jensen Beach resident Brent Marshall is the 91九色视频 July 2021 Staff Employee of the Month. Brent joined the 91九色视频 team as an Instructional Computing Technician in October 2006 before being named Internet Security Specialist I in September 2011 and promoted to Internet Security Specialist II in September 2016. Starting in January 2021, Brent stepped into his current role as the College鈥檚 Director of Network Security.
While most of the work that Brent accomplishes for 91九色视频 is behind the scenes, the value of his efforts in keeping the College鈥檚 network and data safe has an enormous positive impact on the entire College community. Keeping vital student records and data safe is critical to the College, and Brent works daily to ensure that information remains secure. Brent is a known problem solver. When an issue comes to his attention, he devotes the needed time to ensure a successful resolution. Brent played a central leadership role in the success of the recent campus-wide wireless and camera upgrade. Also, his contributions to the network core and firewall upgrade have made 91九色视频鈥檚 network substantially more secure.
Those who work with Brent readily share how invaluable his gifts and talents are to the institution. One co-worker says, 鈥淏rent鈥檚 commitment to the critical need for network security is clear in all that he does.鈥� They add, 鈥淗e consistently demonstrates initiative and follows through with any task at hand.鈥� Another colleague states. 鈥淥ften, when no one else can solve a problem, we share it with Brent, and he finds the answer.鈥� Finally, another co-worker adds, 鈥淏rent always relishes the challenge. He pursues solutions that demonstrate a full understanding of both the need and the resolution. We are so appreciative of him!鈥�
