The 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) YouthBuild program seeks applicants for its next cohort. The YouthBuild program assists low-income residents of St. Lucie County aged 16 to 24 to earn a high school equivalency and acquire experience in the skilled trades.

High school seniors interested in taking part in the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Promise Program—which offers tuition-free Associate degrees for qualifying 2022 high school graduates from public and public charter schools in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties—must commit to 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ by taking the Promise Pledge by the upcoming Sunday, May 15 application deadline.

Dr. Robin Zide, Assistant Professor and Department Chair for the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) School of Education, was presented with the 2022 Harriett Kirk Crago Faculty of the Year Award at the Student Leadership and Engagement (SEAL) Awards Ceremony held Wednesday, April 13 at the Bailey Auditorium at the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex in Fort Pierce.

Leaders of the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) Chapter of Health Occupations Students of America returned from the HOSA State Leadership Conference after earning five gold medals, one bronze medal, and two prestigious scholarships. The conference—held April 9-12, 2022, at the Marriott World Center in Orlando—featured competition among 16 post-secondary intuitions and welcomed more than 2,500 HOSA members/competitors, advisors, and guests.

Students from nine high schools in St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River counties flexed their mathematical muscles on Friday, April 8 at the annual Math Olympics hosted by the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) Mathematics Department at the 91¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex Bailey Auditorium in Fort Pierce.
